About Pat Greany: Pat is a graduate of Montana State University-Bozeman; he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Fish and Wildlife Management in 1974 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education in 1976. On December 1, 1976, he began his insurance career.
Pat completed various industry-training programs; he received his LUTC designation for work in the Life & Health industry. In 1988 he received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Pat operated his own agency in Deer Lodge for a number of years; then worked in the crop insurance industry for 3 years on the company side of the business. He began working for ISP/Montana International in 1997; that company then merged with Payne Financial Group. In May, 2006, Payne Financial Group sold the Cut Bank, Conrad, Shelby and Choteau operations to Pat, Gordon Smedsrud, and the Leavitt Group. He now works as a managing partner and as an Insurance Sales Producer. NMIS is recognized by the Leavitt Group as a recipient of the Agency Excellence Award.
Pat has a variety of insurance expertise including Employee Benefits, Life, Health, Property, Casualty, and Crop Insurance; his client base represents a variety of industry groups, agriculture, public entities, construction, oil field, and retail business. He is recognized as one of the top producers in the Leavitt Group.
Pat and his wife, Kathy, enjoy spending time with their eight children they share between them. Pat also enjoys a variety of sports that include rodeo and skiing, and he loves tackling landscape projects in his yard. Pat gives back to his community by actively supporting and participating in various fundraisers and events. He currently serves on the Montana Board of Directors for the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA); he is a former President of the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit.
